SAPA TREKKING TOUR & BAC HA MARKET – EVERY SATURDAY.

NIGHT 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai – O/N in the Train. Meals = No Meal.

20: 00 pm - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railway station for boarding the express train to Laocai. Overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper wooden cabin. (4 pax/cabin or 2 pax/cabin on Request).

Overnight in the train, 4 soft berth cabin, AC.

DAY 1: Lao Cai – Bac Ha – Ban Pho – Lao Cai - Sapa. Meals = Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Arrive Lao Cai Train Station around 6:00.

Then take a two hour transfer to Bac Ha Mountain. Located at about 70km from Lao Cai and 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountainous town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by Flower H’Mong, Black Dao, Nung, Phu La and Tay and last from 9:00 until 14:00. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, getting to know their daily life and culture…

Enjoy landscapes on the way coming back from Bac Ha Market to Lao Cai and continue up to Sapa. Optional boat ride in Chay river for relaxing and viewing the nice view along this river.

Free at leisure until dinner at a local restaurant in Sapa.

DAY 2: Sapa – Y Ninh Ho – Lao Chai - Ta Van – Sapa – Lao Cai. Meals = Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Have breakfast at your hotel, then, check out.

At 8:30 Am, enjoy a 6 km nice walking up and down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black H’mong. The beauty of Y Linh Ho valley is adorned with green mixed gold of terraced rice field and corn field, imposing mountain coved by bushy plants, rice, corn fields in perfect harmony.

Continue to get over 3km for trekking down to Lao Chai Village of H’mong people. To go inside the village, travelers trek through a small bridge led to Muong Hoa valley. There are some traditional houses of H’Mong people, streams flow tranquilly mixed with the smell of flowers and fields, children playing… all of them make a relaxed feeling for the visitors.

Have a picnic lunch on the way.

After lunch time at a local family, walking through terraced rice fields to reach Ta Van Village of the Dzay minority people, where we stay for the night. It gives you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture that is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom.

Head back to the main road to catch the jeep and return to Sapa.

Fresh shower & dinner before taking the bus to Lao Cai Station.

18:00 Bus to Lao Cai Station.

Arrive in Hanoi around 5 Am next morning. Tour ends at Hanoi Railway Station.
