  • Where to Cruise:

COCONUT ISLAND: Lom Bo island is one of the most beautiful and the largest islands in Halong Bay. It takes about 2 hours by boat from Bai Chay Tourist Wharf to reach the island. Lom Bo island looks like saddle with the height of 67 meters and an area of about 4.5 hectares which accounts 1/3 of the total is limestone.

As you know, Me Cung cave is on Lom Bo island in the height of 25m above the sea level. It has been recognized by archaeologists as one of the vestiges of the pre-Halong new Stone Age culture that existed nearly 10,000 years ago. And our Coconut anchorage area, which is opposite site from Me Cung cave with sandy beach of 200 m length, will be the perfect place to relax and stay away from the crowded centre. It seems like nature reserve with many kinds of plants such as fruits, herbs and vegetables, etc…and several animals like goats, monkeys, squirrels can be found on the island.

Halong Bay Management Board is planning to set up this island to be an eco-tourist site which brings visitors closer to the natural.

AMAZING CAVE: Located at the Bo Hon Island, the cave got its name (grotte des surprises) from a French admiral who was surprised at the size of the cave when he discovered it.

The limestone cave is now heavily developed for tourism, with granite pavements and colored-lighting beautification. The natural elements seems pretty well preserved though, hopefully the in-flock of tourists won’t cause too much harm.

TITOV ISLAND: Got its name from Ghermann Titov, a former Soviet Union hero, Ti Top Island displays a beach shaped like a crescent moon and sand that has been washed to a snowy white by the tide. In 1962, this tiny island had the honor of receiving a visit from astronaut Ghermann Titov, a hero of the former Soviet Union, accompanied by President Ho Chi Minh. To perpetuate the remembrance of their visit, Uncle Ho named the place Ti Top Island. It has now become an attractive beach for tourists and has various of tourist services.

Thirty-five years afterwards, in 1997, Ti Top returned to the island having his name. Deeply moved, he wrote in the souvenir book of the Management Board of Halong Bay: "My deepest thanks to destiny, which has allowed me to come back to this tiny island.” It has become a beach attracting many visitors.

Located about 14 km east from Bai Chay Wharf, Ti Top Beach takes the shape of a crescent encompassing the island. Small though it might be, it wins kudos for its quiet and airy atmosphere, as well as its alluring landscape.

The beach boasts pristine white sand, clear and blue water and small waves, which make it ideal for recreational activities like swimming and other sea sports. At present, there has a Ti Top Beach bar in the island which also provides swimming costumes, floats and lukewarm shower. Fresh water was carried to the island from inland. Swimming at Ti Top Beach is really enjoyable. After swimming, you can enjoy fresh sea food specialities in an ideal environment of immense sky and sunshine.

This beach is very beautiful and is well worth a visit to cool off when the heats starts to get to you. If you spend a day at the beach and elect to take a deckchair, you will be asked to buy either a baguette, some lovely pineapple or a drink, otherwise you will have to pay for the seat. During the full moon, you are able to wander around until late at night.

The island has become a popular tourist destination. On summer holidays, the famous beach of Ti Top Island cools off visitors heading to Quang Ninh Province and you will surely have a chance to join in an interesting journey to the natural wonder...

TUAN CHAU ISLAND: Tuan Chau island’s name is the combination between ‘linh tuan’ (the patrolman) and ‘tri chau’ (district chief) because in the feudal time, the royal army set up a guard station here to patrol and defend the borderland.

The first project of great significance was to link Tuan Chau and the National Highway No18 by building a road. The work was officially started on February 28th, 1998. All company staff had to overcome numerous hardships to achieve this difficult task, which translated people’s dream into reality.

QUAN LAN BEACH : The deep blue beach has strong waves and white sand, which spans over several kilometers. Tens of meters away from the beach stand the very green wild pines, which further add to its original charm.

This beach lies at Quan Lan Island in Bai Tu Long Bay, between Minh Chau and Quan Lan communes of Van Don District, 55 km away from Ha Long City. Its pristine beauty features unspoiled environment. The deep blue beach has strong waves and white sand, which spans over several kilometers. Tens of meters away from the beach stand the very green wild pines, which further add to its original charm.

LAN HA BAY : Lan Ha bay belongs to the Ha Long bay community, a World Natural Heritage, famous for its dreamlike and fresh beauty.

Guests will have a chance to imagine freely about small islands and stalactite with special and miraculous forms when visiting Amazing cave, which is the largest and the most beautiful in Ha Long bay. Visiting Tiptop cave and swimming in the bay will give you an interesting vocation day. Steering Kayak Boat and fishing is the ideal choice for golden-sunlight days at Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. The water surface is glistening. Kayak Boats quietly drift on the bay. Somewhere, a boat drifts freely and seem to have a good time with playful fishes. All of those beautiful sceneries, you can only find at Cat Ba Island.

CAT BA ISLAND: A trip to Cat Ba island can done separately or in combination with a visit to Halong Bay. Cat Ba Island is the largest island in the Cat Ba Archipelago that consists of 350 limestone outcrops adjacent to Halong Bay.

This is an oasis where you can be gone for one or for several days. If you start from the Halong Bay Wharf, it will take you four hours by boat, with stopovers for swimming, visiting spectacular karst and eating fresh seafood. You can contemplate the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay before reaching the island.

There is an alternative way of getting to Cat Ba Island if you are pressed for time and cannot take in Halong Bay on your tour. You can take an hydrofoil from the Hai Phong Seaport.

With an area of 356 square km, Cat Ba encompasses forested zones, coastal mangroves, freshwater swamps, beaches, caves and waterfalls. In 1986, the Northeast side of the island was designated a National Park and includes a protected marine zone.

Cat Ba Island supports a population of over 20,000 inhabitants most of whom live off fishing or farming in and around Cat Ba Town. The town is small and ancient, with clusters of fishing boats. It is an ideal spot to watch inspiring sunsets across the harbor. You can even check out the catch-of-the-day in the early morning as the fishing boats return to port. See cuttlefish dried over hot charcoals, or stroll around the old town. It's a short hike from Cat Ba town through a tunnel to Cat Co Beach where mountains form a throne-like picture holding a marvellous sandy coast. You can even hike further along the beach to reach the rockier Cat Vang Beach.
